The Mirasol Collection Book Ten

This is the little book of Nuna cardigans!

The Nuna is such a beautiful yarn. It is smooth with a little twinkling sparkle that enhances any and all stitch techniques.

Jane had so much fun playing around with the yarn to create the designs. She hopes you enjoy knitting them just as much.

Progress is being made. Last May, at the parade in Muñani, a local town, the Mirasol children proudly marched in grey uniforms with the Mirasol logo embroidered on the pockets, carrying the Peruvian flag and the banner of the Boarding School. They were awarded first place in the marching competition. The children are happy to entertain guests at the centre, many from overseas.  In December regular visitors, Kari and Per from Norway, arrived to meet a flock of excited children on their way home from school. Kari says, “I have to admit we cried with joy to see them like this. This was a big change to from the timid children we said goodbye to a year ago.” Friendships are being forged. Thirteen-year-old Henning, one of the Norwegian visitors says, “I will do everything I can to come back here one day.”
