This is the book of Lachiwa and Wach’i knitted items for women.
This collection of 8 cardigans, sweaters and accessories uses lace.
There is a lace pattern for every knitter here, from those new to
lace to a more complicated one for more experienced knitters (though
in my philosophy of simple knits it is complicated, but it’s still
fairly simple in the world of lace!)
Wach’i is a beautiful yarn made from 85% pima cotton and 15% silk. I
feel the silk takes the dye so well to give a strong rich colour and
the pima cotton with the silk is so deliciously smooth that knitting
with it is a joy.
The Lachiwa is made from pima cotton too, however this time it is
mixed with linen.
The yarn is soft because of the pima however the linen gives it a
unique crisp feel that is perfect for a spring / summer garment.
